One love

To me we are one as a nation and our world should be united. As you look around there is so much division within this world. From democrat to republican, Catholic to Baptist, gay- straight, alcoholics, drug addicts, and the list goes on and on. What I am beginning to learn in my life is to love others as myself. There is never going to be anyone that will like 100 percent of the things that I like or say everything that I completely agree with. I honestly dont claim a political party and I go to a non denomination church. Im hoping the way that I treat people will begin to open eyes.
When I think of Jesus I picture a man that sat and ate with some of the worst people. A man that let his love for everyone transform lives. I feel like we should stop forcing people to be like one another and should share the truth but also more than anything love. Christians are looked upon so negatively due to the hatred that they display when someone doesn't believe what they believe or act the way they say they should. I don't know about you but I know for myself that when someone is always pointing fingers at me and telling me all the things that I do wrong, it is easy to build a rebellious spirit toward that person. Same goes for judgmental Christians. The world no longer wants to hear it and in a way I dont blame them. I thing Christians need to re think how they approach how they minister to people. I am happy to see fellow Christians are fired up about God but to me it seems like we are losing ground.  Love first and then the person will have an open mind to hearing what you have to say much more than being aggressive and pointing out flaws. Love will transform a lost world. You just need to learn how to love.

God bless
